No sales pitch and no pressure. We\u2019ll go through the basics and lock in a date for your wedding if this is right for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2: Complete the Paperwork<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To get married in Australia, you need to complete a&nbsp;<strong>Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) <\/strong>at least&nbsp;<strong>one month before<\/strong>&nbsp;your wedding day. We will complete this together and I will handle the submission of it all.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&#8217;ll also need to provide valid ID (passport or birth certificate + driver\u2019s licence).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3: Choose a Location<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your wedding can take place anywhere private and comfortable\u2014your home, a caf\u00e9, a park &#8211; you pick! Travel within <strong>20 km of Brisbane CBD<\/strong> is included, but if you need me to come further, we can arrange that for a small travel fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 4: Get Married! \ud83c\udf89<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the day, I\u2019ll guide you through the simple <strong>legal vows<\/strong>, and we\u2019ll sign the paperwork. It\u2019s quick, relaxed, and completely personal. Want to add your own vows? Go for it! Prefer to keep it short and sweet? That works too. You can also have a few friends or family members there if you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 5: Paperwork Lodged<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After your ceremony, I\u2019ll submit all the required documents to the <strong>Registry of<\/strong> <strong>Births, Deaths and Marriages<\/strong> to make it all official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 6: Receive Your Official Marriage Certificate<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the day, you\u2019ll receive a commemorative\u00a0<strong>wedding certificate<\/strong>\u00a0as a keepsake.
